Tae Ho and Hyun Mo owned a small dairy farm in Korea until a nationwide
dairy-industry crisis forced them out of business. They faced growing debt
until a friend introduced them to Herbalife in 1991. After getting great results
with the products, they attended an Extravaganza in Los Angeles and
became Distributors, qualifying for President’s Team in 13 months. In 1996,
they returned to Korea to grow their business, successfully integrating the
two cultures. They made Chairman’s Club in just three years, encouraged,
says Tae Ho, by the passion and vision of Mark Hughes (1956–2000).*
